The Corteo Storico Matildico in Quattro Castella is a historical reenactment commemorating the 'reinfeudation' of Matilde di Canossa by Emperor Henry V in May 1111. Now in its 55th edition, the event takes place in the Prati del Bianello, featuring a large Medieval Camp setup, guided tours, a medieval market, performances with armed knights, jesters, flag-throwing tournaments, archery, and the blessing of the Palio.
