Ceggia in Piazza celebrates its 11th edition with a rich program of events for all tastes. From a fun run to a 'dinner under the moon' with food trucks and local restaurateurs, to a market exhibition and dance shows. A weekend of fun, gastronomy, and culture awaits!
Get ready to savor a fantastic array of Italian street food! Indulge in Abruzzese arrosticini (delicious grilled lamb skewers), crispy fried mixed seafood, and classic Italian sandwiches like 'Panini 'Onti' with fries. You'll also find traditional dishes such as polenta with sausage and ribs, and exquisite seafood options including scampi, oysters, and cicchetti (Venetian tapas) with baccalà or dentice. Don't miss the unique combination of arrosticini with gnocco fritto and 24-month aged Parma ham, or the mortadella sliced by hand with stracciatella cheese.

On Saturday, September 19th, kick things off at 5:00 PM in Piazza della Repubblica with a 6 km run and walk organized by Runners Club Agggredire (€5.00 entry, part of proceeds to V.LP.-Clown di corsia). Later, at 7:00 PM on via Roma, enjoy the 6th 'Cena sotto la Luna' (Dinner Under the Moon) featuring local food trucks and restaurants like Jesebel's Antica Birreria Bristot, Pizzeria Centrale, and Il Pesce. Sunday, September 20th, starts bright and early! At 10:00 AM, the 11th Market Exhibition of Local Productive and Commercial Activities opens at the Municipio entrance. Explore 'Chiese Aperte' (Open Churches) with guided tours at Oratorio Bragadin (9:00 AM-12:00 PM & 1:30 PM-7:00 PM) and Chiesa San Vitale (4:00 PM-5:30 PM). Car enthusiasts can check out the American car, motorcycle, minimoto, and kart exhibition in Piazza Pio X at 10:00 AM. Witness live artisanal gelato making and tasting by master gelatai Fausto Bortolot and Renzo Ongaro on via Roma at 10:30 AM. Kids (and adults!) can play 'Il Grande Gioco dell'Oca' (The Great Game of the Goose) in Piazza della Repubblica at 10:30 AM (registrations open 10:00 AM). From 11:00 AM, 'Sapori in Piazza' offers traditional local dishes along the city center streets. For card game lovers, a Burraco Tournament by Burraco Sandonà APS takes place at Piazzetta Ronchese at 3:00 PM (€10.00 entry, register by Sept 18th). Enjoy various performances in Piazza Pio X, including Pole Dance and Calisthenics by J&J Dance Studio San Donà di Piave at 3:30 PM, followed by Country Dances with DJ set and instructors Gio & Gloria Western Company Country Dance at 4:30 PM.
