Head to Abbadia Isola, a charming hamlet in the municipality of Monteriggioni, for the 21st edition of "Castagne, bruschetta (con l’olio nuovo) e non solo." Starting at 10:00 AM, at the ABBI stand in the public parking area, you can savor roasted chestnuts, bruschetta, grilled sausages, polenta, homemade desserts, and much more. This event will take place even in case of bad weather, and all proceeds will be donated to AIRC for cancer research.
Indulge in a delightful array of Italian flavors, from savory bruschetta with freshly pressed olive oil and grilled sausages to hearty lasagna and various polenta dishes with rich sauces, cheese, or mushrooms. Sweet treats include traditional Cantuccini biscuits, homemade desserts, and the special Pan dei Santi. Complement your meal with a selection of beverages, including Prosecco, local wines, and the sweet dessert wine Vinsanto. You'll also find typical cured meats like prosciutto and salame, and succulent porchetta.
