On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Pro Loco, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Massa Fermana, invites you to the Castagnata at the municipal sports field in Madonnetta. Starting at 11:30 AM, the indoor food stand opens, offering roasted chestnuts, vino cotto (a traditional cooked wine), polenta (both white and red varieties), trippa (a local specialty), sausage and capocollo sandwiches, and castrato (mutton) prepared cacciatora style or grilled. In the afternoon, enjoy live music from the Altamarea band. Reservations are recommended, and takeout is also available.
