Three days of celebration in Tolentino dedicated to the chestnut, with a rich gastronomic program that includes fish dishes, polenta, mixed grills, and, of course, plenty of chestnuts. The event also offers live music, a market of local products and crafts, games, and face painting for the little ones. Enjoy food and dancing in spacious, heated tents.
Indulge in a wide array of Italian delights! Savor traditional pasta dishes like spaghetti with clams, rich polenta with duck or mushrooms and sausage, and unique strozzapreti pasta with chestnuts or rustic sauces. Enjoy hearty main courses such as mixed grilled meats, fried fish, and arista di castagne (pork loin with chestnuts). Don't miss the street food favorites like porchetta and braciola sandwiches. For dessert, treat yourself to sweet frittelle and other pastries, all paired with warm vin brulè (mulled wine) and vino cotto (cooked wine). And, of course, an abundance of roasted chestnuts!
