The traditional Castagnata returns to Paganico Sabino, in the province of Rieti, to celebrate autumn. Visitors can savor local chestnuts, served in the classic paper cone, accompanied by homemade pasta, sausages, bruschetta, and, of course, red wine. This event is entirely plastic-free.

At 11:00 AM, explore fascinating exhibitions on local history, culture, and tradition, showcasing 'Farming Civilization Tools' and 'Sacred Furnishings.' Then, at 12:30 PM, the main Castagnata Paganichese event begins, offering homemade pasta with tomato sauce, sausage & bruschetta, a cone of chestnuts, and a glass of wine.
