Highlights include the Raduno Nazionale Alpini, Festa della Musica, Fiera di S. Giovanni, and Expo Vallescribia. You'll also find musical tributes, traditional processions, and themed dinners for a summer packed with fun and local traditions.
Get ready for a packed summer in Casella! The fun kicks off with the Raduno Nazionale Alpini from May 6-11, followed by a remembrance of the Oratorio Sant'Antonio Abate di Casella's founding on May 11. Bishop Monsignor Guido Marini of Tortona will make a pastoral visit on May 30. Foodies can enjoy 'LA GRIGLIATA' BBQ on May 31 (Area Verde) and June 14. Don't miss the Corpus Domini Procession on June 7, Festa della Musica on June 20, and the Fiera di S. Giovanni on June 24. Experience 'A TAVOLA CON I CONTI' at the Corte Fieschi Dinner on June 27 (Expo Area) – reservations at 346 3188829. July brings more music with EXPLOSION on July 4 (Expo Area-Verde Area) and a Harley Davidson Rally on July 18. Catch JEM BAND on July 24 (Piazza XXV Aprile) and celebrate with ASD Avosso on July 25. The Expo Vallescribia runs from July 31 to August 2 (Expo Area-Verde Area), with a detailed program to follow. ASD Casellese celebrates on August 1, and the Madonna della Neve Procession in Avosso is on August 2. The Fiera Forte dei Marmi takes place on August 4, followed by DJ FONTES on August 9 (Expo Area). August 15 features a Ligabue Tribute (Expo Area-Verde Area), and August 16 offers Street Food and a Megamax 883 Tribute band (Church Square). Test your skills at the Pétanque Competition on August 17, and bring your furry friends for the Amateur Dog Show and Blessing of Puppies (Parish event) on the same day. Kids can enjoy the Children's Gymkhana on August 18. The San Rocco Dinner with Alessia Caracausa Orchestra is on August 22, leading into the San Rocco Procession and a big concert on August 23 (Expo Area-Verde Area), featuring Michele Zarrillo. Also on August 23, check out the Fiera Gente di Mare. Dance the night away with the Liscio Dance Orchestra and Omar Codazzi on August 25 (Expo Area-Verde Area). As summer winds down, enjoy the End of Summer Fair on September 5, the Stracasella race on September 6, and REVOLUNION on September 12-13 (Expo Area-Verde Area). The season concludes with the Madonna del Rosario Procession on October 3.
