The traditional Chestnut Festival in Lusevera, known locally as Burjanka, celebrates the authentic flavors and traditions of the Alta Val Torre region. Indulge in homemade food and wine specialties like Ocikana, Stak, požganik, and friko, perfectly paired with roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. The day's events include a solemn mass, South American music concerts, a musical show with the Hot Rails Band, traditional folk games, and free entry to the Ethnographic Museum.

📅 Program

Join us on Sunday, October 11th, at Piazzale della Chiesa. The day begins at 11:00 AM with a Holy Mass (Sveta maša), followed by the opening of food and wine stands at 12:00 PM, featuring specialties from Alta Val Torre. In the afternoon, enjoy a concert at 2:30 PM with Igor Zobin (accordion) & Marko Feri (guitar) performing a South American Suite (Južnoameriška suita), followed by a musical show with the Hot Rails Band at 4:00 PM. You can also freely explore the Skakati Lavatoj path with traditional folk games of Alta Val Torre. On both Saturday, October 10th, and Sunday, October 11th, the Ethnographic Museum (Etnografski Muzej) offers free admission from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
