Celebrate 10 years of Ballarò Buskers! From October 16-18, 2026, Palermo's Ballarò district comes alive with 3 days of free shows, workshops, installations, parades, and the incredible energy of over 170 volunteers. This milestone edition, themed 'SEMI' (Seeds), features 100 artists across 9 squares, offering 40 free performances. The official poster, designed by Andrea Buglisi, beautifully captures a decade of public art. The pomegranate, an ancient symbol of fertility and rebirth, pays homage to our historic market and the vibrant daily life of its shops. The artist scattering seeds backward represents our memory and the fragments we've sown over these 10 years, reminding us that even where it seemed impossible, we dared to plant. The hummingbird, a nod to 'Cartoline da Ballarò,' is a poetic reminder that even the smallest among us can achieve great things when determined. For ten years, we've planted seeds of freedom, care, social battles, and cultural exchange that have transcended neighborhood boundaries. Now, it's time to watch them bloom together, everywhere.
