Get ready for a wild ride with Articolo Trentino! This isn't just a band; it's a collection of Italy's most eccentric musicians, each with a backstory more unbelievable than the last. Pietro “la roccia” Cappelletti, the bassist, is rumored to be one of the top 100 bassists in all of Mattarello, a former drag queen from Caracas who returned to music to avoid a life-altering surgery. He lives on malt and hops, yet somehow seems the most normal. Sergio “nonno” Tessadri, the keyboardist, is the 'elder' of the group, who once played for Chopin before his ragtime phase. He now resides in a retirement home for artists, trading adult magazines for unfiltered cigarettes. He often gets lost on the way to gigs, sleeps under bridges, and hitchhikes home. Renato “Ghedda” Labalestra, the guitarist, is the group's alternative spirit, discovered through an ad in a truck stop bathroom. He dresses in recycled clothes, pretending to be an Iraqi refugee, but is actually a former tomato picker from Puglia. Max “salamandra” Vit, the drummer, is the newest member, a former sheet metal worker and interregional indoor twerking champion who found his rhythm by hoeing in his uncle's garden. Paolo “manolesta” Mairer, another guitarist, is the virtuoso who even sleeps with his guitar, fathering two 'children' named Paul and Les. He's been with this 'anomalous family' for twenty years and can't quit. Finally, Roberto “brodegon” Laino, the singer, is the one to blame for starting it all, despite not knowing how to sing.
