Meet the crew: Pietro “la roccia” Cappelletti (bass): Hailed by experts as one of the top 100 bassists in all of Mattarello, Pietro's journey includes a stint as a drag queen in Caracas's seediest clubs. He returned to save the band (and himself from a life-altering surgery). His diet? Malt and hops in every form. He seems the most normal, but trust us, he's not. Sergio “nonno” Tessadri (keyboards): The "elder statesman" of the group, Sergio played session gigs for Chopin before his ragtime pivot last century. He lives in a retirement home for artists, trading adult magazines for unfiltered cigarettes. He often gets lost, ending up hundreds of miles from the gig, sleeping under bridges, and hitchhiking home after a McDonald's feast. Every concert could be his last. Renato “Ghedda” Labalestra (guitar): The band's alternative spirit, Renato joined after posting an ad in a truck stop bathroom on the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway. He dresses exclusively in salvaged clothes, pretending to be an Iraqi refugee, but he's actually a former tomato picker from Tavoliere delle Puglie who came to Trento seeking fortune. Instead, he found them. Max “salamandra” Vit (drums): The newest member, but highly sought after. Max found his rhythm by years of hoeing in his uncle's garden, then as a sheet metal worker in a Nonesa mechanic's shop. An interregional indoor twerking champion, he's not above accompanying older men for a Peroni. Paolo “manolesta” Mairer (guitar): If he were a book, he'd be "Sometimes They Come Back." If a movie, "The Taming of the Shrew." He's the guitar virtuoso, even sleeping with his instrument, which birthed twins: Paul and Les (you'll get that in six months). A former guitarist for TheRoldeg Stones, he's been with this "anomalous family" for twenty years and can't quit. Roberto “brodegon” Laino (vocals): It's all his fault. He started this band but refuses to take responsibility. And he can't even sing. He often wakes up in strangers' homes with no idea how he got there, empties their fridge, uses the bathroom without flushing, and flees. He often pleads semi-mental incapacity.
