The Pro Loco of San Mauro di Saline Aps, in collaboration with the parish of San Mauro Vescovo, invites you to the Antica Sagra di San Moro. This is your chance to savor traditional local dishes like trippe, risotto with tastasal, gnocchi di malga, and the special San Moro plate, all while enjoying live music and dancing. There will also be entertainment for children and religious services.
Indulge in a delightful array of traditional Italian festival foods! Our menu features hearty first courses like gnocchi di malga and risotto with tastasal, alongside unique main dishes such as the signature piatto San Moro (polenta, salami, cheese, and mushrooms), slow-cooked spezzatino with polenta, and the authentic local specialty, trippe. For lighter bites, we offer sandwiches and crispy fries, plus a selection of delicious desserts.
Join us on September 27, 2026, for a full day of festivities! The event kicks off at 8:00 AM with the opening of food stands, featuring the traditional trippe. At 8:15 AM, browse local product stalls and enjoy entertainment from the 'La Rengaja' group. Mons. Mario Castagna will celebrate Holy Mass at 9:00 AM and again at 11:00 AM, the latter animated by the San Mauro choir. At 10:00 AM, take a guided tour of the San Moro parish church with Vito Massalongo. Lunch is served at the Pro Loco stands starting at 12:00 PM. In the afternoon, enjoy past and modern songs and dances with ULISSE E GIULIA at 2:00 PM, followed by a religious service and blessing of San Leonardo at 2:30 PM. From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, kids can enjoy face painting and a bubble show!
