The Ancient Cattle Fair of "San Michel" in Prada Bassa celebrates rural traditions with livestock exhibitions, local markets, cheese-making workshops, and live music. The event also features the 3rd edition of "La Transumanza" (a traditional cattle drive) and the 12th edition of the "Trippa Regina" gastronomic competition. Join us for a multi-day celebration! On SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, the fair kicks off at 8:00 AM with cattle admission in Prada Bassa, followed by a film screening at 9:00 AM. The festival and market officially open at 10:00 AM, along with BALDOALLEVA membership registration and a 'Make Cheese with Giovanni' workshop. Food and wine stands open at 11:00 AM, accompanied by live music. Don't miss the 3rd EDITION "LA TRANSUMANZA" organized by BALDOALLEVA and Coldiretti Verona, starting at 11:00 AM from the Coldiretti gazebo. In the afternoon, enjoy pony rides with Circolo ippico Valpolicella at 1:30 PM, and sign up for the 1st Edition friendly 'Morra' game competition at 2:30 PM. The day culminates with the "12ª Edizione TRIPPA REGINA" gastronomic competition at Ristorante "Al Cacciatore" Prada Bassa at 4:30 PM. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, features a Coldiretti Verona conference on 'Mountain Products: Quality, Safety, and New Supply Chain Opportunities' at Palazzo Cà Montagna at 10:30 AM, followed by BALDOALLEVA membership and presentation at 12:00 PM. The evening includes the "SAN MICHELIN" awards ceremony and dinner for farmers at Ristorante Al Cacciatore at 8:00 PM, where the winner of the "12° Edizione TRIPPA REGINA" will be announced. On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, the fair markets open at 8:30 AM, showcasing livestock breeding tools. The official fair opening and technical examination of the animals begin at 9:30 AM. A Holy Mass will be celebrated at the Church of San Bartolomeo at 10:30 AM, with food and wine stands also opening at this time. Authorities will give their greetings at 12:00 PM, followed by awards for the best animals and young breeders at 1:00 PM. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, offers a day filled with folkloric music and entertainment for children.
