The 42nd Altstadtfest Herrieden invites you to two days filled with music, entertainment, and culinary delights. Look forward to live music on multiple stages, a children's flea market, and a traditional opening ceremony with a beer tapping. A diverse program for the whole family awaits, including a city tour and sports demonstrations.
Get ready for a fantastic two-day celebration! On July 18, 2026, the festivities kick off at 5:15 PM at Stadtschloss with a concert by Musikverein Neunstetten. At 5:45 PM, watch the parade of clubs and guests from Stadtschloss to Bühne Deocarplatz, where the official opening and beer tapping with Mayor Patrick Peters and Brauerei Dorn will take place at 6:00 PM. Following the opening, the Altstadtfestschießen awards ceremony will be held. The evening continues with live music: Crossover on Bühne Deocarplatz (from 7:30 PM), Fahrsteil on Bühne Herrnhoff (from 7:30 PM), and Breadless on Bühne Vogteiplatz (from 8:00 PM). July 19, 2026, starts bright and early with morning concerts (Frühschoppen) by Zohlenmoler on Bühne Herrnhoff and Musikverein Neunstetten on Bühne Deocarplatz, both from 11:00 AM. Also at 11:00 AM, you can join a city tour starting at Marktplatz in front of the Stiftsbasilika. The afternoon is packed with activities: a German-American Jedermann-Lichtgewehr-Freundschaftsschießen at Aula der Wolfhardtschule at 1:00 PM, a performance by Dance 14s on Bühne Vogteiplatz at 2:00 PM, and the Jugendbläserklasse Musikverein Neunstetten on Bühne Deocarplatz at 2:30 PM. Don't miss the Karateabteilung SC TSV/DIK Herrieden performance on Bühne Vogteiplatz at 2:45 PM, followed by a vaulting demonstration by Reit- und Fahrverein Herrieden at 3:30 PM. Live music continues with The Talents on Bühne Herrnhoff (from 3:00 PM) and Mühlstaa Bänd on Bühne Deocarplatz (from 4:30 PM). For some competitive fun, there's a Beerpong Turnier at Vogteiplatz at 4:30 PM, and a DJ Party with DJ Bifi on Bühne Vogteiplatz from 5:00 PM. The day concludes with a Public Viewing of the WM-Finale.
