Agosto Settembre Gualdese (ASG) 2026 is the historic festival of Gualdo Cattaneo (PG) that brings the village to life with medieval reenactments, inter-district games, historical parades, live music, DJ sets, and the traditional Arrampicata. Every evening, the Taverna del Voltone opens, where you can savor local specialties in a unique atmosphere of history, traditions, and entertainment. In 2026, the event celebrates its 51st edition, running from August 27th to September 3rd.

The festival runs from August 27th to September 3rd, 2026. Each day kicks off with events in the late afternoon, followed by the opening of the Taverna del Voltone at 8:00 PM for dinner. Evenings feature a mix of traditional games, live music, and DJ sets. Highlights include the 'La Contesa dei Castelli' youth soccer tournament, inter-district challenges like Badminton, Women's Relay, and the Two Barrels Race. Saturday, August 29th, hosts a national Drummers' Competition, while Sunday, August 30th, features a parade of Medieval Floats dedicated to San Francesco. Archery competitions take place on Monday, August 31st. Live cover bands like '88 Folli' and 'Crossing Over - Sound System' will perform on Tuesday, September 1st, and Wednesday, September 2nd, respectively. The grand finale on Thursday, September 3rd, includes a historical parade, the thrilling Arrampicata race, and a spectacular fireworks display, followed by a DJ set by Mario Manero.
