On Sunday, October 18th and 25th, the Fiera e Sagra del Tartufo returns to Dovadola, celebrating its 59th edition this year. This event was created to highlight the exquisite truffle and other typical local products from the region, including mushrooms, honey, cheeses, wine, and cured meats. It's also a fantastic opportunity to discover the beauty of this charming Romagnola town. The streets of the center will come alive with stalls from street vendors, local agricultural producers, and a dedicated truffle market. You'll have the chance to savor the local specialties that have made this festival famous: handmade tagliatelle, meticulously prepared by local 'sfogline' (pasta makers), and many other delights such as polenta, crostini, eggs, panzerotti, sausage, spit-roasted meats, Romagnola piadina (both classic and fried), and typical local wines. In Piazza Marconi, a special Jury will award prizes to the best truffle specimens presented at the Fair. The event also includes a children's play area and equipped restaurant tents to ensure comfort, even in case of bad weather.
