Get ready for the 26th edition of the Sagra Das Cartufulas, one of Carnia's most anticipated summer food and wine events! This three-day festival celebrates the humble potato, the true queen of the party. Indulge in delicious potato gnocchi and frico, savor traditional pork ribs and tocj di vora, or grab a classic burger or sausage sandwich. Enjoy live music, fun activities for kids, and the warm, convivial atmosphere of Carnic folk tradition. Plus, there's red draft beer and plenty of parking!
At the Sagra Das Cartufulas, the star of the show is the potato, featured in delightful dishes like potato gnocchi and the regional specialty, frico di patate. You can also enjoy hearty main courses such as costa di maiale (pork ribs) and tocj di vora, a traditional local dish. For a quicker bite, there are classic hamburgers and panini con salsiccia (sausage sandwiches). Don't forget to pair your meal with a refreshing red draft beer.
The festival kicks off on Friday, August 7th, at 7 PM with the opening of food stalls and kitchen, featuring music from Radio Studio Nord. On Saturday, August 8th, stalls open at 6 PM with the traditional menu, followed by a dance evening at 9 PM with Studio Folk. Sunday, August 9th, starts with lunch at 12 PM accompanied by Aristide. Kids aged 5-11 can enjoy activities in the large play area at 3 PM. Stalls reopen at 6 PM with the traditional menu, and the festival concludes with a dance evening at 9 PM featuring Angelo, Francesco, and Bruno. New this year: an illuminated tent and extensive parking!
