Celebrate a quarter-century of tradition at the 25ª Batelade di Vilegnove, a historic amateur boat race on the Corno river in the lower Friuli region. This unique event features "batèle," traditional flat-bottomed boats from the Marano lagoon. Enjoy a rich program of entertainment, live music, and cultural insights into the Villanova community.
Join us for a weekend of festivities! On THURSDAY, JUNE 25, the food stands open at 5:00 PM, followed by "STORIE DI FIUMI E VOGATORI" at 8:00 PM, a captivating talk about rivers and rowers presented by IGOR PEZZI. The evening concludes with live music from TOYS Planet Queen at 10:00 PM. FRIDAY, JUNE 26, starts with park and riverbank cleanup at 3:00 PM. At 8:00 PM, there's a presentation of the 25ª Batelade di Vilegnove and crew registrations, with live music by Absolute 5 (ABSOLUTELY LIVE) at 10:00 PM. SATURDAY, JUNE 27, is race day! Meet at the Canoa Center at 5:00 PM for the start of the 25ª Batelade di Vilegnove at 5:30 PM. The boats are expected to arrive at the Villanova Bridge around 5:42 PM, kicking off the main celebrations. Awards will be presented at 7:00 PM, and the night wraps up with music from MIST PARTY (MUST BAND) at 10:00 PM.
