THE TRANSUMANZA IS BACK!🐄🌾 On Sunday, October 4th, 2026, San Pietro in Gu is set to host a special day with the 23ª Festa della Transumanza e dei Prodotti Tipici dell'Alta Padovana! This festival annually brings back the ancient tradition of the herd's return from the mountain pastures, accompanied by the sound of cowbells and a captivating folk parade. It's an event that celebrates local territory, memory, and traditions, while also offering a day of fun for the whole family! From early morning, the event area in Via Mazzini will come alive with market stalls, local products, artisan crafts, ancient trades, kids' activities, farm animals, tastings, and plenty of opportunities to gather. And between a stroll through the market and a traditional specialty, there will be shows, music, hot air balloon rides, and lots of entertainment!

The herd from Azienda agricola F.lli Nicolin will return from the mountain pastures, parading through the town streets, accompanied by a captivating folk procession and the unmistakable sound of cowbells. 🧺 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM - EL MARCÀ: A grand day dedicated to local excellence and creativity. Among the stalls, you'll find typical products, artistic crafts, ancient trades, upcycling and reuse, hobbies, DIY, creative activities, wellness products, agricultural machinery and tools, farm animals, and much more. 😋 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM - FOOD STANDS: Tradition takes center stage at the table! Pro Loco Guadense awaits you with its unmissable 'Toro allo spiedo,' along with many other offerings prepared by local associations: traditional dishes, 'cicchetti,' and specialties for all tastes. 🎭 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM - KIDS' AREA: A day full of excitement for the little ones too! There will be wooden games (with Divertilegno) and inflatables. Workshops and fun close encounters with farm animals or pony rides. At 3:30 PM, enjoy a juggling and comic magic show for all ages! 🎈 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM - HOT AIR BALLOON: Have you ever seen San Pietro in Gu from above? At the Museo delle Risorgive, you can discover the history of water, the spring environment, and many curious inhabitants of this ecosystem.
